What time can I check in?

You can check in from 3.00pm onwards on the day of arrival. If you arrive earlier than this, you can store luggage in our complimentary luggage room.

What time is check-out?

Check-out time is 11.00am. You can leave your luggage for the day with us in the luggage storage free of charge.

What time is breakfast?

Breakfast is served Monday to Friday 6:30am – 10:00am and on Saturday, Sunday & Bank Holidays 7:00am – 11:00am.

Is the hotel fully accessible?

Does the hotel have Wi-Fi?

Yes, Clayton Hotel Manchester City Centre is pleased to offer complimentary Wi-Fi in all public areas and bedrooms.

What is the Manchester City Visitor Charge?

The £1 + vat supplementary ‘City Visitor Charge’ was introduced by the Manchester Accommodation Business Improvement District (ABID) to ‘improve the visitor experience’ to the city centre and ‘support the growth of the visitor economy’ for the next five years.

Does the hotel have a gym?

Our gym is available 24 hours for our guests. Gym equipment includes treadmills, exercise bikes, rowing machines and free weights.

Are there meeting rooms or conference facilities?

Yes, the hotel has a dedicated meeting floor with 5 meeting rooms, contact for more information.

Is parking available?

We do not have parking on-site. However, the NCP Cark Park Chorlton Street (M1 3FY) is located adjacent to the hotel and is just a 3-minute walk.

How far is the Clayton Hotel from Piccadilly Station?

When arriving by train into Piccadilly Station the hotel is 0.5 miles/ 8-minute walk from the station.  Taxis are also available from outside the station.

Can I check in early?

We cannot always guarantee an early check-in. Please contact the hotel on the day of arrival and we shall do our utmost to accommodate your request.

Can we get a cot in our room?

Cots are supplied free of charge, just mention when you are booking or prior to stay and we can assist you with that.

What late night food options are available?

We have a late-night room service menu that is available 24/7.
